Karlie Bright from Kennolyn has been a counselor for 2 summers.  Karlie always has a smile on her face and lifts everyone up around her. She has inspired both boys and girls to enjoy rugby at Kennolyn! She has a beautiful singing voice and deeply loves her family, friends and  campers. She currently studies at John Brown University in Arkansas. Troy Zeier from Gold Arrow Camp is currently studying at UC Santa Barbara. He wants to teach Mathematics and coach high school baseball. His favorite part of camp is the opportunity to be part of a camper’s growth and to help shape who they are. He was a camper at Gold Arrow, and loves being a role model for today’s campers, just like the counselors who were such important role models for him.

Olivia Brown has been a counselor at Kennolyn Camps for 3 years and a camper for 10! She was an amazing Head Counselor this summer after being a counselor for almost every age group over the years including CILTs. She’s from Pleasanton, CA and just graduated from Cal Poly, ready to get her teaching credential. Jamie Mancini – Jamie was a Kennolyn Day Camp camper for 8 summers. She promised herself that she’d return as a counselor when she was old enough so that she could share with current campers all the reasons camp was so important to her. She’s now been on staff for 2 summers, and was the Ropes Coordinator in 2017. She’s from Watsonville, California and studies at Gonzaga University in Washington.

Brittany Grissett- Brittany’s been a counselor at Gold Arrow Camp for 8 summers! She became a counselor to be a role model for young people and help them grow to be the best versions of themselves. Her summers at Gold Arrow made her realize her true calling is to be a teacher, so she’s currently studying at Fresno State University.2017 Tyler Munoz -Tyler has been a Gold Arrow Camp counselor for 3 years. He was Head Counselor in 2017, and is a great role model for both campers and counselors alike. He’s very interested in playing, watching, and talking about all types of sports, and is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Sports Psychology at Fresno State.

Madison Love – A long time Kennolyn camper and 3 year staff member. Kennolyn has meant the world to her, forming who she is today. She is a quietly caring counselor who campers adore. At camp you can usually find her at Ceramics or up in the trees. She is currently a Junior at UCLA. Kirsty White – A 3 year Kennolyn Resident Camp staff member and Waterfront Director from Scotland studying at the Univ of Cumbria in Physical Education Instruction.

Steven Goodrich – A long time Gold Arrow Camp camper and 2 year staff member from Bell Canyon, CA studying at USC in Neuroscience. He wants to be a Child Psychologist

Jack Linscott of Eastbourne, UK was awarded the Kennolyn Camps Staff Member Scholarship for the summer of 2014. Connor Maloney of Newport Beach, CA was awarded a Gold Arrow Staff Member Scholarship for the summer of 2014.

Alyssa Gutnik of Fresno, CA CA was awarded a Gold Arrow Staff Member Scholarship for the summer of 2014. Samantha Townsend of Soquel, CA was awarded the 2013 Camp Educational Scholarship. She had been a camper at Kennolyn for over 10 years before joining the camp’s staff as a counselor in 2010. She has worked at Kennolyn for three summers and was most ran the crafts and pottery departments.

Ben Billings of Los Osos, CA was awarded the Kennolyn Camps Staff Member Scholarship for the summer of 2012. Ben Woodward was awarded the Gold Arrow Staff Member for the summer of 2012.

Phil Boyer was awarded the Kennolyn Camps Counselor Educational Scholarship for 2011. Phil has been on staff at Kennolyn for five consecutive summers. He is attends Washington State University and is an active volunteer for his school and participant in numerous extra curricular groups and events. Briana Seapy was awarded the Gold Arrow Camp Counselor Educational Scholarship for 2011. Briana started out as a backpacking activity counselor in 2008 and just this summer was the backpacking Program Director at Gold Arrow Camp. She is beginning her first year of graduate school at the UC Santa Barbara: Bren School of Environmental Science and Management.

Sarah Beauchamp was awarded the Caldwell’s Camp Counselor Educational Scholarship for 2009. Sarah was a camper at Kennolyn for many years and has been on staff for 4 summers. She is working on her degree in English with a minor in History from Santa Clara University. Carrie Browde was awarded the Caldwell’s Camp Counselor Educational Scholarship for 2008. Carrie was a camper at Kennolyn for many years and has been on staff for 3 summers with hopes of returning. She is working on her degree in Literature from UC Santa Cruz.

Lucinda Frank was awarded the Caldwell’s Camp Counselor Educational Scholarship for 2007. Lucinda is earning a degree to become a doctor at the University of Bristol in England. She has worked at Kennolyn for the last 3 summers and hopes to return again if her program will permit it. Jenny McCann was awarded the Caldwell’s Camp Counselor Educational Scholarship for 2006. Jenny is attending Teachers College in New York and has worked at Kennolyn for 3 summers.
