Camp Krem

Camp Krem is a place for exceptional people to be themselves!

Camping Unlimited is a non-profit charitable organization that provides out-of-home respite to parents and caregivers of children and adults with developmental disabilities. Our single-day and overnight programs provide relief from the daily demands of care and supervision, while fostering independence, nurturing responsibility, developing competence and building lifelong friendships. We provide a warm and supportive atmosphere of planned permissiveness that encourages community, recreation, education, fun and adventure.

Camping Unlimited was established in 1957 and is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which provides fulfilling camping, recreational, educational and respite services to children and adults with developmental disabilities around the year.

At Camp Krem, we nurture independence and self-confidence, encourage responsibility, develop a sense of worth and respect for others, and build lifelong relationships through a warm and friendly atmosphere of planned permissiveness.

Camp Wamp

Camp Wamp offers one-week camp sessions for campers of all ages with physical disabilities. Campers enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including fishing, canoeing, singing around the camp fire, hiking, making new friends, participating in survival challenges, and much more. Recognized as a premier camping experience for persons living with physical disabilities, our exciting programs are appreciated by both parents and campers

The Stephen J Wampler Foundation incorporated in October 2001, becoming a fully recognized tax-exempt non-profit 501(c) 3 organization in March of 2002 (Tax ID number #80-0470847). Our outdoor programs started in August of 2004 when we welcomed our first 24 campers. The organization has grown over the past 17 years, and we have sponsored 1250 children.

Camp Wamp, located near North Lake Tahoe in the High Sierras, is a place where kids with physical challenges have the week of their life in the great outdoors. The kids of Camp Wamp leave the experience having learned to face life with a new sense of self-reliance, ambition, optimism and adventure. Most of these kids are also quick to say that Camp Wamp was the,“Best Week Ever”!
